Video DVD or DVD-ROM?
A video DVD contains content created using the MPEG2 codec. In doing this, the DVD is said to be "authored" and can include menu pages, menu music and graphics. A DVD-ROM is just data stored on a DVD, exactly the same as a CD, except that a DVD holds more.
DVD's that play in standard domestic DVD players are called Authored DVD's or playable DVD's.
They can be played on computers that have software to play DVD video. They differ from DVD ROM's because a DVD ROM holds information only readable on a computer whereas authored DVD's contain video, menus and graphics.
Whether for your archive needs or for use at events, we can produce DVD's with all the features included.
Flash
Flash is an interactive content creation platform with new versions being released constantly. As you would expect, the latest version offers more advanced features. Each version creates video and audio with different codecs. To view a Flash video file, you need Flash Player which can be downloaded free from the Adobe website.
